Regarding Windows licenses, here's the information I have:
https://metal.equinix.com/developers/docs/operating-systems/licensed/
Before proceeding, we should verify that this will be suitable, and if they are not we can talk to our friends who make Windows images to learn more about what might be necessary.
@vielmetti from the list, 3 x windows server standard 2019 will do, thanks!
@idvoretskyi I was going to add an "approved" label, but for some reason the changes in #157 didn't seem to take and I don't have access to the little Github "gear" icon to do that.
@vielmetti this is weird, let me check this.
Want me to go ahead and add the label for you in the meantime?
@idvoretskyi Yes, please do, and then I'll get a start on this.
@vielmetti here we go, a new label created and assigned.
@idvoretskyi @vielmetti thank you both! what are the next steps?
@prezha - Next step is for me to open a ticket with our Service Delivery team at Equinix Metal, and get your project set up. I'm expecting that to complete this afternoon. You'll want to create accounts at https://metal.equinix.com for each person who is involved in the project, and then I'll invite project collaborators to a new project inside the CNCF organization.
You'll want to schedule a time at https://calendly.com/evielmetti with me and we can walk through any questions or issues or other setup-related and introductory conversation.
@idvoretskyi - I've gone through a bunch of process improvement work for the @WorksOnArm project and have some suggestions for how we can learn from this for the CNCF CIL effort which is roughly the same procedures. We have some workflows and boilerplate text and an Excel worksheet to analyze the usage, all of which I think would be worthwhile learning from and/or copying wholesale.
@idvoretskyi awesome, let's discuss this separately!
excellent, thanks @vielmetti ! as advised, we'll create accounts and schedule a call with you soon and take it from there
All, the project has been set up and predrag.rogic@gmail.com and medya@google.com have been invited to it, thanks
@taylorwaggoner thanks !
@taylorwaggoner we have a couple of more collaborators to add/invite to the project, but we cannot do that by ourselves atm - is that due to our current permissions settings, or the process is to ask you directly every time?
@taylorwaggoner helped sort this out - we're all good now, thanks Taylor!

Job Title
Senior Software Engineer
Project Title (i.e., summary of what do you want to do, not what is the name of the open source project you're working with)
minikube integration testing for VM-drivers
Briefly describe the project (i.e., what is the detail of what you're planning to do with these servers?)
We do minikube testing in different cloud environments (eg, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud, and also looking at establishing the same level of testing in AWS) with different combinations of OSs (both Windows & Linux) and virtualisation hypervisors, for which we need bare-metal machines.
Is the code that you’re going to run 100% open source? If so, what is the URL or URLs where it is located? What is your association with that project?
What kind of machines and how many do you expect to use (see: https://metal.equinix.com/product/servers/)?
6 x c3.small[x86] in total:
What operating system and networking are you planning to use?
Any other relevant details we should know about?
question: are you able to provide us with the relevant Windows licenses (ie, 3 x Windows 10 Pro)?
