I would like to start a new community in Abu Dhabi which is currently not there.

Abu Dhabi is experiencing rapid growth, with companies establishing offices in the area. Starting a new CNCF chapter will undoubtedly facilitate the adoption of tools within the CNCF landscape for the local community. This initiative will effectively address the existing gap in the city's tech ecosystem

I would like to be added as a new chapter for CNCF in Abu Dhabi because the city is currently experiencing significant growth, attracting numerous companies and tech professionals. Despite this growth, there is a noticeable absence of a dedicated CNCF community to support and enhance the adoption of cloud-native technologies.

Being added will enable us to:

Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Provide a platform for local professionals to exchange knowledge, best practices, and innovations related to CNCF tools and technologies.
Foster Collaboration: Create opportunities for collaboration among developers, engineers, and companies, driving collective growth and innovation in the region.
Support Professional Development: Offer resources, workshops, and events that help individuals and organizations develop their skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud-native technologies.

Establishing a CNCF chapter in Abu Dhabi will bridge the existing gap in the city’s tech ecosystem, fostering a vibrant community dedicated to cloud-native technologies.

Hey @hernandezj84 Thanks for your patience here! We're in the process of confirming and reviewing your request, we're checking in with the previous organizers and will let you know when we can move forward cc @k8tgreenley

@akashkaveti we are confirming with a previous organizer of the Cloud Native Abu Dhabi chapter that they are no longer involved with hosting meetups and relinquish the group to you. We will provide the previous organizer a two-week deadline to respond. If we do not receive a response in the two weeks we will move forward with your request.

Hello @hernandezj84 and @akashkaveti - I am here with an update to let you know Grigor, the previous organizer responded to an email with welcome arms in May 24, but no response my follow-up two weeks ago.

We have given him notice to add a comment here with next steps, by the end of this week. Otherwise, you two would become lead organizers and welcome him as a collaborator.
