What this term is about? (briefly)
Machine Learning Operations, referred to as MLOps is streamlining the process of putting machine learning models into production, then maintaining and monitoring them.
It combines principles from DevOps and machine learning to create a framework that ensures the seamless integration of machine learning into the software development lifecycle.
Why this term needs to be added? (briefly)
The use of machine learning models into practical applications has gained importance recently across several sectors. This calls for the use of a systematic method to manage machine learning initiatives over their full lifespan.
Providing a connection between data science and operations, MLOps addresses crucial issues including model efficacy tracking, scalability, and reproducibility. By using the acronym "MLOps," we highlight the growing importance of this area in contemporary software development and operational IT.
The addition of the term "MLOps", will make it easier to comprehend and explain the procedures and equipment needed for successfully implementing and overseeing machine learning models in real-world settings.
