Tasks for adding Sign Language feature to the Glossary

In order to improve the accessibility of the Cloud Native Glossary and spread Cloud Native knowledge globally, the Glossary project is planning to add a Sign Language feature.

Since the workflow for traditional localization and the addition of Sign Language differ, it would be beneficial to organize the tasks as follows. These tasks may be updated and modified as needed:

  • [x] Promote contributor recruitment through the #deaf-and-hard-of-hearing WG
  • [x] Discuss within the team about the target for sign Language (title only?) and how to record Videos

• [ ] Discussion and decision on the location of Sign Language video within each glossary term document

  • [ ] Website enhancement based on the decisions

• [x] Decision on the method for uploading developed Sign Language videos

  • [x] Settle open review method for developed videos by contributors

• [ ] Determine the minimum requirements for launching the Sign Language feature (5-10 terms first?)

  • [ ] Post about the addition of the Sign Language feature on the CNCF blog after the feature is live
  • [ ] Ensure the team maintains sustainability
