recounted prior discussions with folks @ Neo4j, Greg King, Michael Hunger, etc., and history of project, and potential for featuring landscape-graph on Neo4j hosted Webinar.
overview of current implementation & status, nightly push --> Aura (#57)
Neo4j <-> CNCF collaboration / partnership on technical and marketing/PR fronts (e.g. blogs, webinars, etc)
Neo4j is a CNCF member, 15 yr / mature organization (awards, with a track record of innovating in Graph Data Science, and applying it to human/social challenges (https://neo4j.com/graphs4good). Examples include Panama Papers, COVID, Graphs 4 the Cure, Graphs 4 Women, NASA, etc.
CNCF is a rapidly growing and expanding ecosystem with { 5.4m humans, 1,075 cards, 3,102,444 stars, market cap of $13.9T and funding of $29.4B. It seeks to transparently provide insight, analysis, and understanding of the foundation's ecosystem. It can do so using tools and technologies incubated in Open Source; in many cases from within it's membership.
Q: is k8s via helm "the best" way to run Neo4j? Neo isn't really designed to horizontally scale (at all).
Yes, consider Fabric
Q: best way to support Sub-Graph Module (sgm) "quick cleanup," and CI/CD workflows that start with a snapshot of the database, apply a PR, run tests / CI...then roll back, etc.
A: https://neo4j.com/blog/getting-started-with-neo4j-fabric - allows for composing a horizontally scaled graph by stitching together multiple smaller databases. Effectively supporting a sharding use case, can be used in theory to support these workloads
