[Platforms] Survey to accompany paper

To best help cloud users make the most of platforms we want to gather feedback on our paper, such as what other values and challenges enterprises have discovered with platforms, what attributes of platforms have been most important for success, and what capabilities and features should teams prioritize for max impact.

To that end we propose creating and publishing an open survey at the time of release of the paper in mid-April to gather insights to revise the paper and guide cloud users, vendors, and community leaders. We propose to find a way to publish both the raw data and a bit of analysis based on this survey later in the summer so all of us can benefit.

This issue is to discuss such a survey: who can help us craft and publish it and who can help analyze and publish the data? Please chime in with your suggestions!
