I'd like to nominate @salaboy for the chairs. Find more details below.
I would like to nominate @danieloh30, because since we had the first chat at KubeCon, we started collaborating heavily for this to happen.
Name of the nominee Daniel Oh
Professional affiliation of the nominee Senior Principal Developer Advocate at Red Hat
Short CV - Three to five sentences Daniel Oh, inspires and educates developers and platform engineers all over the world through technical talks, workshops, and meetups. He has been working for Red Hat for several years and is heavily involved with the CNCF, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
Motivation for the role and previous contributions to the TAG Being a CNCF ambassador, and having access to feedback from developers from all over the world, Daniel can be a valuable member of this working group. Leveraging his expertise in a wide range of open-source and cloud-native, Daniel can help the group to stay vendor-agnostic, community-driven, and on track with the proposed deliverables.
Commitment on how much time you can dedicate to the role Even with his busy agenda, I am sure that he can allocate at least 4 hrs a week to work on the working group.
I would like also to nominate @ThomasVitale
Name of the nominee Thomas Vitale
Professional affiliation of the nominee Software Engineer at Systematic and Author of "Cloud Native Spring in Action"
Short CV - Three to five sentences Thomas is a seasoned engineer and architect working for Systematic, a Danish software company. He is a published author, a CNCF Ambassador and a contributor to the Platform WG inside the TAG App Delivery. He is also an international speaker, with multiple times KubeCon Speaker.
Motivation for the role and previous contributions to the TAG Thomas brings a vendor-independent view to the group and his experience can help the working group to reach other larger communities outside the CNCF, to help us bring developers closer to cloud-native technologies. Thomas has proven to be a great partner to collaborate and build long-running initiatives. His feedback to the platform working group and the feedback provided to the App Development WG Charter has been very valuable to define the group next steps.
Commitment on how much time you can dedicate to the role I am hoping that he can allocate at least 2/4 hrs a week to work on the working group.
