New CNCF projects usually donate any relevant domains to the Linux Foundation as part of project onboarding. Then, the LF Project Control Centre manages DNS. LF PCC can delegate DNS management, and the CNCF usually recommends that DNS be delegated to Netlify so that it can be managed self-serve.
As the CNCF grows, we need to track the following:
[ ] project domain ownership
[ ] where project DNS is managed or delegated
[ ] which projects use Netlify, and which teams they are in
