• Moving levels
  • OpenCost: sharing internal to the TOC for Adopter Interviews and DD. Did another interview last week!
  • Dapr: in DD, adopter interviews finalizing this week, TAG App Delivery will have their review this week! May not be done before the freeze
  • Kyverno - moving forward, update soon.
  • OpenYurt 4 interviews done, can't find a 5th - going to wrap up.
  • In-toto - first adopter is done, scheduling others, need some update from the project - not likely to maker KCCN NA, closer to end of year.
  • Kubescape - last adopter interview scheduled, issue is up to date, hoping for public comment in Nov.
• (brief discussion on the freeze - looking to make a small change to move public comment to two weeks before

• TAG Observability started a draft - want to understand how much detail? The issue has the items of focus and the expected length. TOC is anticipating variability in the depth, but we'd like to keep it short (within the confines of the ask)

https://github.com/cncf/toc/issues/1283 feel free to add existing work done on this by the TAG to the discussion - we'd like to have this finalized before KCCN.

Project Pavilion - highly recommend, excellent engagement at KCCN EU Paris 2024. for SLC we have a live stage for projects as well as the booths (centrally located). Planning on having lightening talks from the projects, some unconference, all the videos projects submit will be looped on the signage. What about TAGs? some have booths in the pavillion - the deadline to submit is passed, however just come to the pavilion we'll find something! Taylor D will bring End User companies by to meet n greet! Ambassadors are heavily involved.

TOC offsite - great for us to identify areas where we can set expectations for the TAGs and what processes and tools are available for use by TAGs.

APAC meetings - consider adding a chair or leader for coverage in that timezone? Target of the group is to get stable, consistent members first. Several have been active, so that aligns with plans in the future.

Lots of movement in the AI space - coordinating with other TAGs to ensure focus and expertise on AI papers. WASM WG is also very active! pushing for WASI standardization

Taggies! please submit nominations! CNCF Top Committer: This will recognize excellence in technical contributions to CNCF and its projects. The CNCF Top Committer has made key commits to projects and, more importantly, contributes in a way that benefits the project neutrally as a whole.

CNCF Chop Wood Carry Water: This will recognize excellence in technical contributions to CNCF and its projects. The CNCF Top Committer has made key commits to projects and, more importantly, contributes in a way that benefits the project neutrally as a whole.

CNCF Lorem Ipsum (previously Documentarian): This will recognize excellence in documentation contributions to CNCF and its projects. Excellent technical documentation is one of the best ways projects can lower the barrier for contribution and build a more inclusive community.

CNCF TAGGIE: This award recognizes an impactful contributor to the CNCF Technical Advisory Groups. This individual has broad reach and significant impact in growing the TAG ecosystem. This award will be curated by the TOC and the CNCF staff.
