The function is not computing the residual's mean for each group of cells and signature, but rather the normalized BCS mean.

Actually, there are 2 other bugs:

[x] The residuals are computed for all signatures at once, instead of by signature.
[x] When using a merged beyondcell object with custom signatures, these are not returned by bcRank's function.
