CH32V003 vs PMS132B #6

PMS132B-S08 is $0.05 in quantity at LCSC, CH32V003J4M6 is $0.115 Is the CH32V003 worth twice the price? The PMS132 has a multiply instruction.

What is it about the PMC131-S08A that makes it twice the price of the PMS132B-S08? The datasheet is hard to decipher, I think the PMC has better power noise immunity.

PY32F002AW15U6TR has multiply, $0.104

Hi jonsmirl,

Is it otp? (One time programable) most micro's in this price range are. The CH32V003 is flash based so you can re flash it.

Hope this clears things up :)

PY32F002AW15U6TR, CH32V003J4M6 are flash. Both of the Padauks are OTP.

image I think that is saying PMS are not to be used with resistive or cap drop power supplies.

The CH32V is 32-bit, runs at 48MHz, has 8/16x more flash and RAM. It's a pretty massive bump. For everything I care about I would definitely say the CH32V is well worth the extra $$.
