2017 County level prescription data is available: https://www.cdc.gov/drugoverdose/maps/rxcounty2017.html Not sure how this was gotten in the past -- hand compiled or is there a tool available?
We can get data from CDC Wonder for 2017 mortality rates as well, but not sure what settings were originally used for downloading.
