It'd be nice to show each user's avatar as they log a beer. Perhaps even utilize gravatars.

I like the user of gravatars for a number of reasons. 1) It means we don't have to save user images ourselves. 2) Gravatar is extremely flexible, allowing different images for different email addresses. We don't even have to use our known email address for a user to fetch their image, we can let them choose an alternative. 3) It's an opt-in thing, so if a user doesn't want an image, they just don't set one up.
