Currently collaboration only takes place through the Metadata Implementation WG (MIWG) hosted in KHub.net and mainly as a result of planned sessions. Whilst that workspace is used predominantly to store artifacts and session materials as well as anncouncements, the hosting platform does not lend itself to encourage and promote comms and collab between WG members intra-sessions. Also for those WG members who may not be able to contribute directky to the GitHub repo, the provision of an alternative space for more active participation is also desirable.

Create a dedicated Slack channel open to participation initially for the MIWG members but open to others across gov hosted here:

There's currently no other alternative, ideally when MS Teams x-gov collaboration capability is released a move to that setting might be preferable for the purposes of providing more seamless integratio betwen the users' main productivity suite and available resources.
