Apparently there was some translation but it was discontinued.

We should reattempt it, at least for user docs. It would also be useful for dev docs, to help with GCI in December.

I recommend @weblate, which is OSS and provides hosting for OSS.

I understand the previous attempt was using zanata ; c.f. https://github.com/coala/rultor-python/issues/11

It was really a burden with zanata, I'm not sure we want this again right now. coala is changing heavily still^^

@makman2, was it used for user docs or CLI messages?

Anyway, with weblate, there should be no cost on devs. The translation is a separate project, in separate repo.

CLI messages indeed ;)

But also for user docs: it affects the same "brand" coala. Not complete or bad translations do reflect on us^^ If we don't care for it officially in this state, we get less quality content imo (at least that's my feeling currently). This might change in future when our "fanbase" grows far enough to trust in reliable content.
