I fixed a former mention of 'rbf' instead of 'uniform', and added a tolerance parameter to get rid of really tiny numbers.

Ignore the awful typo in the branch name.

Thanks! I'll give the tests a try.

The tests pass much more frequently now. Setting the tolerance to 1e-8 makes the tests pass virtually every single time.
