Cobolat Bugs - seems commands are not getting through to database

Dashboard

• Add Task: Only shows date and time of task (both incorrect)
• Add Event: Only shows date and time of task (both incorrect)
• My sale dashboard: doesn't show deals

Deals Page

• Name filed now showing
• Company field now showing
• Amount only shows £0
• Status shows icons but no text
• Stage and source not only show "click to edit" function until clicked and edited.
• Expected close shows nothing
• Add person function doesn't work
• Add note button doesn't work

People Page

• person image attached but not uploading or visible
• Name not displayed
• Company name field shows "No company Specified" instead of company name.
• Email not shown
• Phone not shown
• Status "no status" instead of status in-putted.
• Source "no source" instead of status in-putted
• Cannot add notes
• Address now shown

Companies Page

• Company image attached but not uploading or visible
• Name not displayed
• Contact details not displayed
• Cannot add notes or contacts

Calendar Page

• Tasks and events not visible when added on calendar

Goals

• No goals are saved after adding

Admin Config

• Add user: user added but no name, username, team email shown. incorrect role and last login date
• Settings not executing after saving
• Workflow not echoing fields
• Cannot install sample data or access template
• Cannot import items or launch
• Colours and branding doesn't show after save
• Deal Stages: cannot add new, editing a deal stage causes a empty creation of a new one with editing current stage
• Cannot add note categories, creates ghost category when trying to edit categories.
• Sources: cannot add new, editing creates ghost source
• Cannot add any custom fields
• People statues: cannot add new, creates ghost people status when trying to edit

Shared Documents recommendations

• Preview pane to quick view uploaded documents

I really like the simplicity of the platform and I thought that since I haven't got the skills to fix it, the lease I could do is to highlight the problems for a quicker fix, hope this helps.

Thanks for this. We're in the middle of working on v2.0 that includes a ton of updates; I'll be sure to work these in as well.

And yes, it definitely helps. Thorough reviews like this are needed. I might contact you again to have you test the 2.0 beta, if that's cool?

@dongilbert Glad I could help, I've searched high and low for a simple clean CRM and this it the best opensource version I've seen that offers what a startup would actually need.

Is there a time frame when v2.0 might be released?

I would be happy to help in any way possible to get this to a stable release.

Our aggressive timeline is for a release by Sept. 1st. And thankfully, things are moving very quickly in that direction, progressing faster than I thought they would.

My main task is rewriting the application using modern PHP syntax and methods (like namespaces, closures, etc) and getting everything up to snuff code quality wise. We're also planning on updating to Bootstrap 3 during this process and reducing a lot of the external javascript dependencies.
