The Ears mod uses the unutilized spaces of skin images to add custom ears, tails, horns, or other features. I've found, however, that when I load a skin that uses those features using Skin Swapper, they don't appear. As best I can tell, there aren't any errors thrown in the log, it just seems to strip those areas out.
