Mission Planner resolution in the States is too far out to provide adequate planning. #202

Arducoper NG or ACM?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter Home coordinates from GPS
2. Zoom in as close as possible
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Better resolution

I do not see a close enough resolution to make a good flight plan

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but the new APM Planner does not zoom 
properly on the east coast of the United States. Not sure if anyone cares but 
it makes it hard to plan without good resolution. I cannot zoom in closer that 
about 100 to 300 meters(not sure exactly) but I guess it has soimething to do 
with resolution to sea level conversion. If you take a home position of 39.2665 
and -73.8662 you will see what I mean.

Am I wrong in thinking there should be better zoom magnification? I know in 
previous versions it worked IMHO better. I just think it is more difficult to 
make a good flight plan without a closer view.

Even if there isn't better resolution imagery available it would still be nice 
to zoom in further.

As an example where I live (in a rural area) there isn't great sat images, but 
I know what my property looks like and I know where I want the drone to go.  It 
would just be nice if I could zoom in a little more so moving a point by a 
pixel doesn't move it half way across my property.
