To reproduce:
Load model (and have it be selected). Hold "x" key (or "y" or "z"). Drag mouse. All bones will be selected and will rotate at once, resulting in… weirdness.
This isn't the only case where a bone selection is needed, and somehow all of them are selected. That is never the right solution. Maybe just select the first bone?
