Lost all my hosts #19675

Explain what happens

  1. I installed on 34 servers and my laptop all on the same network.
  2. on my laptop web interface I adding all my servers
  3. After restarting my my browser, Vivaldi, only my laptop appeared in the list.
  4. kubuntu 23.10, vivaldi 6.4.3160.47 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)
  5. this has happened 3 times already

That sounds like your browser deletes the localstore for the cockpit page (http://127.0.0.1:9090 or similar) when you close the browser? Does that also happen with Firefox and/or Chromium?

I haven't had the strength to do 34 servers again in another browser yet. Is there a way to confirm this local store issue?

You don't have to -- test it with one. I don't know vivaldi, but Firefox and Chrome have a "Developer console" where you can inspect the local and session storage.
