Can we just make runInTransactions be false when using CockroachDB?

Give a good answer back to Liquibase team.

Vy to share out notes and idea from discussions with Schema team, then we will make a recommendation to Datical. Also, it can be a decision that we keep revisiting in the future.

Note: Schema team is definitely not working on transactional schema change support in 20.2, so any official big changes wouldn't be until 21.1, at least.

Notes were shared with the Schema team. Let's gain consensus and make a recommendation to the Liquibase team. Keep them engaged, and ask for their help to implement it. (E.g. we could take the same approach as with Flyway.)
