SQL ADD alter table drop partition

Few Customer requests for a drop partition feature comparable to postgreSQL / EDB

this was allow customers who choose a range partition by date, the ability to remove data with a single command instead of staggered deletes.

In addition, for archival purposes detach and attach would be great for moving partitions across table which would allow customer to leverage Archival Partitioning to move relocate data across storage tiers.
