I also have run into this.. a lot of my images are rotated and with a person it makes them sideways as stated above. Any thoughts on this? can i go into datasets and rotate them and run again?
Could this have something to do with how the image was rotated? I know on Windows, explorer sets a tag in the image to rotate it. Some software didn't respect that tag and I'd have to use something like Krita or Gimp to rotate the image.
Anyone?? :)
For example if I upload a 2304x3072 (portrait orientation - the image is taller than it is wide) image and select "1024" in "resize dataset images", the image is auto-resized to 1365x1024. The resized image is landscape orientation (e.g.: wider than it is tall) which results in sideways people, etc.
Whichever dimension is largest pre-resize should remain larger after resizing.
