Dry Vermouth != Rosso Vermouth

These are two different types of vermouth. Typically a dry vermouth is clear while a rosso (or sweet) vermouth is red or rose colored.

Also they also have very different flavors. As the name suggest the sweet vermouth has a sweeter flavor to it.
