I get the same error on both Windows (TB 2), Linux (TB 1.5), and Mac (TB 2),
all with
version 0.5 of your brilliant extension.

I still get the same error message with v0.6 (TB 2.0.0.6 on Ubuntu 7.10). Seems
as if
it only affects contacts with many fields filled. The ones which only consist
of name
and one or two mail addresses never show this behaviour. Btw, if the error
occurs,
the contact in use at that time doesn't get modified.

Still getting this error.
My environment:
SuSE Linux 11.0
Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (!)
Duplicate Control Manager 0.6
Again, only contacts with high details level are involved. Nevertheless I have
noticed that one of the contacts that are causing the error are deleted. What I
am
not able to certify is if it is finally merged.

I get the same error.
Windows XP
Thunderbird 2.0.0.17
Duplicate Control Manager 0.6
The contacts were imported from Outlook and this created duplicates (sometimes
4 or
5) for some of the Outlook contacts. Thunderbird may have created these
duplicates
where there was more detail on the original contact.
The error does not occur on every duplicated contact, however I think it tends
to
occur when there is more than one duplicate of a contact. It looks as though I
may
get the error message multiple times for the one duplicate. The deuplication
appears to work correctly despite the errors (although I am not 100% certain of
that). Duplicate Control Manager is able to continue after the errors. I have
had
sessions where I have had the errors in response to 2 or 3 separate sets of
duplicates. However, after a few such episodes of error DCM decides that it has
finished scanning (even though it might be only 25% through the contact folder)
and
quits as though it has finished normally.
I don't know whether this is relevant, but I skip at least one possible
duplicate
pair.

Hi,
same error here. Occurred only with some of those contacts, that have many
data-fields filled.
OS: Windows 7
Thunderbird Version 2.0.0.23 (20090812)
DCM 0.6
Never the less - helpful add-on. Thx!
