Users should be able to control the speed at which day/night cycle progresses.

Here is a list of mods that have implemented this feature:

Extended Days (MC 1.12.2)
OpticManager (MC 1.12.2)
TooMuchTime (MC 1.7.10)
Longer Days (MC 1.12.2)
Time Dilation (MC 1.14.4)
