This is not Injection #1

I'm sorry but I don't get this. This doesn't Inject a shellcode into another process, it just executes a shellcode inside your own process.. but why? What's the point of "Injecting" a shellcode inside your own process instead of just jumping to it?

Yes, this is not injection. This is just an example of running shellcode using callbacks. The blog started with shellcode injection techniques and tricks. Therefore, here is just a mistake in the name of the repository

No worries, for a second I thought we could Inject into another process using EnumDesktops lol.
