Sometimes we can lose track of a project and it would be much easier to have a visual representation of all the related things like the following picture To make a report that displays notes, the most important information from each subview to be taken and displayed, etc

Project Reports Documentation

1. Project Status Overview Report

Purpose: Provide a summary of each project’s current status, covering progress and key dates.

• Fields:

  • Project Name
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Status
  • Total Budget vs. Total Expenses to Date
  • List of Deliverables (with status and actual costs)

• Suggested Filters:

  • Project Status (e.g., In Progress, Completed, On Hold)
  • Date Range (e.g., projects starting or ending within a specific period)
  • Budget Threshold (e.g., projects exceeding a specified expense percentage)

2. Resource Utilization Report

Purpose: Track resource allocation across projects to ensure balanced workload and optimal resource use.

• Fields:

  • Resource Name
  • Resource Type
  • Project Name
  • Assigned Tasks (with start and end dates)
  • Cost of Resource per Project

  • Total Expenses to Date (aggregated from the Expense table)
  • Remaining Budget (calculated as Total Budget - Total Expenses to Date)
