Unsafe division before multiplication which lead to truncation of value or zero out the final result #575

Vulnerability details

Impact

The calculated value would be truncated.

or

The final result value would be zeroed.

Proof of Concept

This has too many implications depends on the place it is done. I have tried to list all of the places here.

I saw similar truncation issues are treated as medium. Anyway I would follow judges path on this.

Downgrading to QA per limited of impact

It's important to note that other organizations use Medium to intent "Not a vulnerability, but should be fixed", however, C4's Meds are vulnerabilities that either impact value, availability or functionality, and in this case the impact is reduced because of the nature of rounding.
