Sidebar no longer hidden, even if option is enabled

Bug Report:

⚬ BUG: The sidebar can't be hidden even if the option is enabled. This also happens when logged out of youtube or in a incognito mode window. In general the sidebar related settings appear to not function in Improve Youtube at the moment.

⚬ HOW: No steps need to be performed to reproduce the bug as far as I can tell.

⚬ ImprovedTube Version: 4.339

⚬ Browser: Google Chrome Version 116.0.5845.188 (Official Build) (64-bit) ⚬ Settings: Appearance -> Sidebar -> Hide Sidebar -> Hidden ⚬ OS: Windows 10 ⚬ Device: Desktop PC

If you're experiencing issues with the sidebar not hiding on YouTube even when you've enabled the option, and this issue persists in incognito mode or when logged out, it's possible that there may be a problem with your browser settings or extensions. try removing the add blockers that you may have or try removing cookies and cache. this would help . You can also try different browser or check for updates

until 3 weeks ago: Appearance -> Sidebar -> Related videos -> Hidden was hiding a bit more than only related videos. (Such as transcript & chapters.)

• Thus we "fixed that. (reduced this to only hide the related videos)
  • the old code though was kept as a new switch at: Appearance -> Sidebar -> Hide Sidebar
    • in such case, if you enabled the old one, we will usually keep that one enabled, for your convenience, not to force you having a look if you want the old behavior. Yet not doing this, has the advantage that people noticed, if it is worth noticing. Hopefully everybody figured by now.

@ImprovedTube I enabled that option (along with Appearance -> Sidebar -> Related videos -> Hidden), but I am still seeing the sidebar.

more specifically you want the transcript and chapter panels hidden too? and you didnt enable the switch for that too,

• or you are still seeing the related videos? (hopefully not)
  • if so, please try to copy/paste Youtube's name/s for the related videos at yours through rightclicking them: "inspect" (then if you mouse over the preselected section in the code it is marked up, confirming where you are in the code) ( can't paste too much code (could be all) and/or can also make screenshot )

No, I only want to hide related videos. Yes, I didn't enable the switch to hide transcript and chapter panels.

aaand the bug happened only in windows smaller than 1599px width. thanks for caring @Tea-Fox @needlenose @dzmitry-paulenka
