Mosty likely some are in Firefox. We can upload our Looper in Firefox too soon.
I shouldn't care about that, while I cant keep up with the complete perspective here alone!
We can integrate the feature in Improvedtube and for nice UX & clean layout ranges could be define through double click or just drag&drop on the time line or so.

⚬ PROBLEM: I don't much appreciate hearing a channels intros/outros/self shilling every time I loop a video
⚬ SOLUTION:
A toggle or right click capacity on the already existing loop toggle to set when the video restarts at or cuts off at. Ex: instead of running from 0:00 to 3:00 we could manually set it to start at 0:27 and end at 2:49 Call it '"CUSTOM LOOP TIME SET" or something similar in the options.
⚬ ALTERNATIVES: The devils in the implementation details. I've mentioned an optional toggle, placed next to the already existing loop toggle. Maybe it could pop up next to or below the standard loop toggle after you've hit the it to save visual space for people not actively using it, as you'd hardly want it on every video. Otherwise I could see a potential for right click and "set custom times" option in the subsequent menu, but I don't know enough about coding to know how, or if, that would work, and regard it as overly fussy comparatively no matter the viability
⚬ RELEVANCE / SCOPE: I think it would be relevant to most people who use youtube for music, but what percentage of people who use it like that is beyond me. Very (visually) small QoL that'd be a big hit with people who hate the logos/self shilling/oddly long instrument wind ups in certain videos. Anyone looping for non music probably wouldn't mind/care
⚬ "SIDE EFFECTS":
No conflicts with other things to my knowledge, Anyone using it for non music is beyond my guess, but I can't imagine a statistically significant number would be insulted at the presence, particularly if you could toggle the features presence. Maybe I'm unimaginative, idk.
⚬ CONTEXT:
I'm a transplant from using the more popular trophied enhancer after this feature (and many others but I particularly miss this) broke, and while it's not "essential" as in my experience is irrevocably ruined I would be delighted to have something similar back. // Thank you!
