youtube search → "open in a new tab" doesn't work

• Steps to reproduce this: (Might only happen with a certain feature of our's enabled?)
• Since when?: When YouTube changed something? Through our update?
• Browser:
• Are any errors shown in the Browser-Console?: (F12-key, then console-tab)
• Does the bug not happen when you log out of YouTube? Then please copy your experiment flags list twice (with & without the error to compare). Enter: `yt.config.EXPERIMENTFLAGS` into the Browser console on youtube (F12-Key - Or find it in the html source(ctrl+U)

BTW: Can we make it any more likely, that people delete the bug template, if not filling it? (First time i ask this after it happened a lot)

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you suggesting that if this feature has a persistent bug, it should be removed altogether? I've always used the right-click to open in a new tab. I tried this plugin feature because I saw it was available, and when I discovered it was broken, I reported it. that's it!

The feature is new (this is the whole short story about this feature: #1774) Alternative implementation of this features: Replacing youtube's search button with a normal html button, that will open in a new tab with ctrl or right click "open in new tab".

the day you told i couldn't immediately get this feature to work in chrome but in firefox. Now it works in both.
The reason might be timing, or youtube giving different /varying versions. To find out the reason:

1. You can open the browser console and look for errors, especially in our general.js (our files have descriptive, one word names. while youtube's might not be related such as desktop_polymer.js ga.js watch:1 log:1 frame_ant.js:1)
2. You can copy&paste the 1000 "experiment flags" that youtube gives you (especially if step 1 stays empty), then i can check which ones are different to mine, so these might be a/the reason)
