When Launching YouTube I have to click the search bar before I can start searching for what made me open the site to begin with.
⚬ SOLUTION:
An option to automatically focus the search bar when on the "Home" page.
⚬ RELEVANCE / SCOPE:
Maybe 5% of users would daily drive this setting, don't think it makes for a good default.
Might be appreciated by those that want to be less distracted as it's a reminder to go through with the search rather than get distracted by the thumbnails on the home page.
⚬ "SIDE EFFECTS":
Previous search results block some of the thumbnails and titles. I doubt that having the option to enable it in the menu would bother people as they likely scroll by and think "I can see who this is for".
SHORT Table | (Summary)

*Problem* | Searching Inefficiency
*Solution* | Auto Focus Search Bar
