Changes to the youtube website broke disabling mini player.

The loudness normalization option also doesn't work

@GKid94 temporary workaround for disabling loudness normalization is installing enhanced h264ify (a forked version of h264ify that gives more options.)

@GKid94 holy crap it doesn't work for me either. i guess google patched it to prevent people from disabling it for some reason.

They ruined YouTube, the developers of Improved YouTube should find a way to fix this issue

If they can't fix it then they can add a volume booster option

ImprovedTube "Mini player" feature does not affect YouTube mini player
