In fact, I have to press to keys to have those special characters, first the ^
or " and then the
letter. It is working in firefox, and also in this form for example, but in the
google search box
from arora, it is not possible... thy are appearing like this "o ^e ...

ö works for me but not ê (that prints ^e instead), strange...
Others textfields like url-bar aren't affected, maybe a bug in search box's
input listening ?

Both keys work under Arora 0.8 / Qt 4.5.2 / Vista. I'll test later under Linux
if I don't forget it.
Don't have a Mac lying around to test there, though.

Ok I found something strange : every letter is well interpreted when tipped
first (even ê) but that's not the
case anymore after...
Arora Git ~0.8.0 (1078) Qt 4.5.2

I can confirm rom1dep's comment (at least for Linux).

I get the same problem. sometimes I can input such characters, sometimes I

problem in password fields.

Confirmed in Arora 0.10.0 in Windows XP Pro. In order to enter special
characters, a small pause (0.5
seconds?) must be made between typing the accent and the letter. It should be
corrected because it
slows down typing in languages with accents.

In 0.11: no problem in this unofficial Windows build>
http://code.google.com/p/arora/wiki/BuildingOnWindows#Unofficial_Arora_0.11_Win3
2_build_(Qt_4.7_&_openssl_0.9.8o) . Under Linux (Debian sid), it is quite
strange: either I have this issue with the first character in the input string
and then other characters can be typed without any problems, or the other way
round (or sometimes, when arora is freshly started, it works for both, but for
some special characters, it places an underscore between the first and the
second character).
