Images are not scaled to fit the window in which they are displayed #107

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a module with high resolution images (e.g. Dore Woodcuts).
2. Verify that it is not possible to see the complete image even when the
book is full-screen. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect it to scale the image to fit my window (at least
horizontally), like Firefox does, but also to allow seeing the full image
with a magnifying glass (again, as Firefox does).  Instead, it shows the
image at its native resolution and it is very difficult to see the complete
image.

While it would be nice to have all of these issues fixed for 0.5, they are not 
critical to the 0.5 goals and so some of them may be deferred to after 0.5.
