cannot display Chinese characters #113

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Icreated portableapp USB from desktop xp pc
2.i ran bpbible from the USB on xp desktop. I am able to display chinese bible.
3. This morning, I plug in the USB to a xp notebook. I ran bpbible and I
cannot see chinese displayed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I use copy function from bpbible and paste here and I am able to see
chinese. But on bpbible it displays series of rectangles/squares.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
bpbible 0.45 running on XP sp3 on both desktop and notebook

If the problem happens with one particular module (Bible, commentary,
dictionary, or book), what module is it?

Please provide any additional information below.

This is most likely to be a problem with the font that is being used (which is
presumably different on the desktop and the notebook).  I suggest setting the 
font
that is used for the Bible explicitly (in File > Set Fonts) to something that
displays the text properly (the preview will give you a sample of how the Bible 
looks
with that font).

is
discussing a different font problem).  The user there suggested using the 
Kozuka font
family.

I'm closing this since it sounds like it is a font problem rather than a 
software
problem.  If changing the font doesn't fix it, then comment here and I'll 
reopen it.
