FileManager plugin - shifts position when a file is deleted #208

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What Plugin does this relate to? What version of the Plugin?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open 3 or more files from different folder trees
2. Close any one of those files and watch as your File Manager repositions
itself to the existing open file.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It works as development intended

What version of Editra are you using? On what operating system?
7.01

Please provide any additional information below.
Closing a file automatically shifts the file manager position to the next open
file. However quite often I wish to open a neighboring file to the one I just
closed. In that case I must manually scroll to 're-find' my previous position
in the file manager. I do this perhaps 100 times per day. It's a total time
waster. Is their a way to disable this jumping about when you are on a
different file.

I understand the perceived benefit, but certainly in my case, the downside of
constantly scrolling about is greater than the upside of being at the point in
the file folders where your open file is located.

Thanks.

Added option to disable view synchronization with editor selection. Will be
released with version 1.7 of the FileBrowser plugin.
