Some enhancements of usability #770

Hello Cody.

The following are my suggestions for Editra:

1º There is a plugin (I suppose) that read the filesystem every time that I
change of tab to edit a file. This lags my system, please, remove it, disable
it, change and optimize it.

2º It's about the Lauch shelf. It's useful but the mode of use it's annoying.
When I change of tab of file, the file selected change (close to Abort button);
I have to choose the correct executable and file name. I would suggest
something simple like the Configurations of Eclipse.

3º When I change of tab the file selected, the Projects shelf expands it.
Friend, sometimes, who cares? I just want to conserve the state of the
open/close projects, i.e., I don't want always expand it.

As always, Editra rocks!

Hi,

#1 - you will need to be more precise about this. The only thing I can think of
when changing tabs are some of the sync features of certain plugins like
Launch, FileBrowser, Projects, ect... Please let me know which plugins you have
activated and more importantly open when you experience this.

#2 - This is easily disabled by clicking the lock checkbox next to the file
name in the launch window. This will prevent the file from switching as you go
between windows/tabs.

#3 - This is a feature requested by several people - it can be disabled via
configuration though, in the projects configuration dialog. So you can go there
and turn it off. See the "Keep file tree synchronized with editor" checkbox in
the General projects configuration dialog.
