mp3 codec not available

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configure build with libmplame
2. make and install
3. Try to encode to mp3

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to get an mp3 output file, instead I get the error "Unknown encoder 
'mp3'"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
FFmbc version 0.7-rc9
OS X 10.9.2

This is how I configured the build, and as you can see, mp3 is included as a 
codec.
