The source code for Google Data API SDK Samples was not downloaded #680

I have installed Google_Data_API_Setup_2.2.0.0.msi. This installed some
sample executables C:\Program Files\Google\Google Data API SDK\Samples.
However it has not provided the sample source code. Should it have installed 
the source code? Where can I get the sample source code from?
