Unexpected error when browsing thru Live TV channel list #150

I have a MythTV channel whose callsign is "ĖĖN". The special characters give 
an error when I use my cursos keys to browse to Live TV channel list en get to 
this channel.

The error message is:

'ascii' codec can't encode characters in posi
tion 38-39: ordinal not in range(128)

Please attach the stack trace at a minimum. The xbmc.log would be better..
