Changing Channels with MCE remote or Keyboard #177

I left a comment in issue 144, but think I'm seeing something a little 
different.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Watch live tv in XBMC on OS X or Linux
2. Use the keyboard in OS X to change channels, or Channel up/down on the MCE 
compatible remote on linux

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect to see the live channel to change up or down.  Instead it looks like 
it's trying to seek forward or back, both with the keyboard in OS X and the MCE 
remote in Linux

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mythtv 0.23
XBMC 10.1 on Linux and OS X
mythbox 1.0.4 and also the latest version of the code from the HG repository
