Support embedded Python engines #456

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Currently PyScripter uses either its internal python engine (running inside the
pyScripter process or a remote Python engine running in a separate process and
launched by PyScripter. It should be possible for PyScripter to work with a
Python engine embedded in another application. This would allow PyScripter to
work with Blender, Maya and other applications that use embedded Python.

Totally support this feature as it will really extend the interest in
pyScripter within the graphics industry!

Definitely first priority for pyscripter at this moment. Big companies will
consider adopting pyscripter if it could be embedded as a python script IDE in
their software
