What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. working on a file, changing code -saving it once in a while
2.leaving the programme running e.g. over lunch break
3.on thew left side - very old code is visible, right side - still the changed
(newer) pdf
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-> I expect to still see the changed and newer code.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the homes are not local but on a server with nfs. using ubuntu, newest version
of texmaker
Please provide any additional information below.
problem is:
It shows a very old version of code. It is unlcear where texmaker gets this
from. If one would save now, one would lose the work of hours. If we compile,
it shows the pdf of this old version. This is a serious problem.
To fix it: we close the texmaker, the saved file (with the newer changes) is
still there and we can reopen it, luckily.
It is totally unclear, where texmaker takes this old file from.
