Commit be7dbbf875ca411e0b3e9e84b01b85e2c96665c2 appears to have inadvertently broken LibXML functionality.
This change-set:
fixes the existing tests so they run without errors,
enables testing of LibXML by default, by making libxml-ruby a development dependency,
adds a Travis CI config file, allowing continuous integration with GitHub so failing tests are less likely to be introduced in future.
On accepting this pull-request, it would be a good idea to enable the "Travis" service hook for the official repository. In the meantime I have it configured on my own repository if you're curious.
