job id field #2

Ken Varnum suggested that a Job ID field would be handy for jobs that lack a URL. https://twitter.com/#!/varnum/status/162537553872957440

It's kind of grim that there are job sites that don't allow deep linking ... so I'm kind of on the fence about this one.

I think I'm going to say no on this one. The job id can be included in the text of the job description. I don't think much is to be gained by storing it separately in the database.
