allow reposting a position that is still open and accepting applications #51

Some jobs do not get filled in a set time. It would be nice to have a clear, simple way to repost an open, active position to show it is still active without creating a new posting.

Currently a message like this displays at the top of some postings: "Heads up! it looks like this job post is more than 60 days old and is likely no longer active. We keep jobs around for historical purposes. Hopefully that's not confusing!"

Services like Craigslist allow postings to be reposted after a set time when the posting has expired. Is there currently a simple way to trigger that a posting is still active and suppress that "more than 60 days old" warning?

It should not send an email to the email list again.

It ought to be possible for the person who created the job post. So the effect would be that it would be pushed back onto the main page? Should it tweet again?

You could choose to push it back onto the main page or not. Or tweet it again or not. My opinion would be to do so, but I suspect that others would not agree. This change would definitely preference those who actively tend postings which may not be what everyone wants out of the site.

Main thing is that if it were reposted it wouldn't show the warning about posting age and could show a date for both when it was originally posted and when it was last reposted. That'd take care of my main concerns.
