- Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency (http://www.shra.org): SHRA serves as the local housing authority for both the City and County, and brings together financial resources and expertise to revitalize lower income communities, create affordable housing opportunities, and serve its public housing residents. The Agency owns and manages 2,700 units of public housing and administers approximately 12,600 rental assistance vouchers per month. SHRA is the largest public funder and provider of affordable housing in Sacramento.
- Sacramento Area Council Of Governments (http://www.sacog.org): The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is an association of local governments in the six-county Sacramento Region. SACOG approves the distribution of affordable housing in the region and assists in planning for transit, bicycle networks, clean air and airport land uses. -City of Sacramento - Community Development (https://www.cityofsacramento.org/Community-Development/Planning/Long-Range/Housing-Programs): Community Development handles a number of housing programs to ensure that housing needs are meet for all households in the City of Sacramento. These programs include the Housing Element, Housing Trust Fund and Mixed Income Housing Ordinance, which are implemented in conjunction with SHRA. -County of Sacramento - Planning and Environmental Review (http://www.per.saccounty.net/Pages/AboutUs.aspx): The Office of Planning and Environmental Review (PER) provides a range of land use planning services including application processing, zoning administration and environmental review. PER also oversees the County's Affordable Housing Ordinance, in conjunction with SHRA.

- CA Dept of Housing & Community Development (http://www.hcd.ca.gov/about/mission.shtml): HCD provides leadership, policies, and programs to preserve and expand safe and affordable housing opportunities and promote strong communities for all Californians. -California Housing Finance Agency (http://www.calhfa.ca.gov/about/index.htm): CalHFA provides financing and programs that create safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities for low to moderate income Californians. CalHFA was chartered as the State's affordable housing lender to make low interest rate loans through the sale of tax-exempt bonds.
Federal Gov
- Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): HUD's mission is to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. HUD provides federal financing to the City and County of Sacramento that is available to finance affordable housing development, including HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, among others.
